Why Choose Attainable Family Solutions?
I’m Dwayne Kruse, MA, LMFT. I’ve spent 25+ years working with real-life systems—families under pressure, couples in conflict, military culture stress, trauma patterns, and the shutdown/withdraw cycles that wreck homes.
My style is direct and structured: we map the stress pattern, stabilize regulation, then rebuild connection and behavior with a practical plan. You’ll leave sessions with tools you can actually run in the real world.
Brief check-ins are available for established clients during and after business hours to prevent small stress from turning into a blow-up.
You are more than just a label!
The 5-Session Reset (Stress Model Based)
Built for high-responsibility adults and couples who need structure and traction—not open-ended therapy.
Anger Management Group
Anger Management Group
Court-approved and voluntary. Learn to identify your stress pattern, interrupt escalation, and build control that holds up at home and on paper.
Wednesdays at 6:00 PM | Limited spots available
Individual Counseling
For high-pressure adults who are stuck in overdrive or shutdown. We use a Stress Model approach to stabilize you first, then rebuild decision-making and relationships.
Couples & Marriage Counseling
Stop fighting the same fight. We map your escalation cycle, rebuild regulation, and install communication that works under pressure.
Reduce chaos, restore parental structure, and stabilize the family system—without turning the home into a debate stage.
Trauma & PTSD
Trauma changes how your nervous system reacts. We focus on safety, regulation, and practical recovery—so the past stops running the present.
Military life is its own culture. Work with someone who understands the system stress, the roles, and the weight it puts on relationships.
Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of counseling does Attainable Family Solutions provide, and who do you serve?
We provide structured counseling for children, adults, aging populations, couples, and families. We serve Sierra Vista, Fort Huachuca, Cochise County, and surrounding communities, including military families, veterans, Border Patrol, law enforcement, nurses, healthcare workers, and other people balancing demanding work and family lives.
Do you provide individual counseling?
Yes. Individual counseling can address anxiety, depression, anger, sadness, trauma, ADHD-related difficulties, impulse control, relationship concerns, career and family stress, and major life transitions. We consider the whole person, including family experiences, relationships, work demands, and current circumstances.
Do you provide couples and family counseling?
Yes. We help couples and families work through recurring conflict, feeling unheard, resentment, emotional distance, trust injuries, unmet needs, parenting disagreements, and difficult transitions. We identify the pattern keeping everyone stuck and develop clearer, safer ways to respond.
How is your approach different from ordinary talk therapy?
Our approach is direct, structured, and practical. We identify how stress changes your emotions, thinking, communication, and behavior, then build tools you can use outside the therapy room. You have room to tell your story, but the conversation remains connected to measurable goals and change.
Do you provide court-ordered or diversion counseling?
Yes. Services include anger management, impulse control, couples counseling, and live one-to-one domestic-violence counseling. We provide 20-hour misdemeanor and 50-hour felony counseling. Bring the complete referral paperwork so the service and documentation can be matched to the requirement.
Is Attainable Family Solutions private pay, and do you accept insurance?
We are a 100% private-pay practice. We do not accept insurance, submit insurance claims, or offer out-of-network billing. Private pay keeps treatment decisions focused on your needs and goals rather than an insurance company’s authorization rules.
Do you offer in-person counseling and telehealth?
Yes. We provide live, in-person counseling at our Sierra Vista office as well as telehealth services. Call us to discuss which format best fits your circumstances and the service you are seeking.
How quickly can I expect progress, and how do I begin?
You can feel progress on day one by leaving with greater clarity and something specific to try. Continued movement depends largely on your willingness to do something different and stick with it: you put in the work, and you create the results. Call 520-678-1115 to begin.
If you are in immediate danger or thinking about self-harm, call 911 or 988.
Most clients begin with five structured sessions. Some continue into deeper work through our Breaking Down Barriers phase. This is not open-ended therapy.
